Mindset and Grit

Ever since I graduated High School I have had a very growth oriented mindset and the test validated this as I got 6/6 on growth and 0/6 on fixed mindset. In high school I was quite the opposite, I would just keep doing the same things that were causing my grades to suffer over and over without making any changes. After my first year of college my whole perspective changed. I changed the way I study, I even changed my diet and began going to the gym. Since then I've changed a lot. I'm still very far from most of my goals, however I truly believe I can reach them if I continue on this path and continue to make changes wherever necessary. The picture on the right is a character named Deku from the anime My Hero Academia. The show is about a boy that live in a world of super powers but doesn't have a power of his own at first. He goes through a lot to finally get and master his power but its been his dream since he was a child so he puts everything on the line for his dream. I chose this as my artifact because in the show his personality is quite similar to mine. He is very quiet and shy and doesn’t often speak about what he is feeling. However, when in a stressful or important situation he suddenly becomes powerful and can achieve pretty much anything. I feel this relates to me, because when I really focus and work on a problem/task I always seem to figure it out and overcome challenges.
